I sure hope NTEK is able to get it done on the cheap using the nVidia Tegra 4. That is the key.
Right now you could just throw a video card in your existing desktop and stream netflix or whatever. That is what I figured I would do in my new house this february......The bummer is the HDMI 1.4. I wish the standard would complete to 2.0 and NTEK include that in the NP-1. The Haswell chipset limited to 24 Hz regardless in the NP-H1. I haven't seen the published limitations on the tegra 4.
Looking forward to seeing this unfold. Few weeks to CES.....Foley just posted the "fitting" of the heatsink on the MB. I hope they get er done.
