My experience has been the opposite. Firms rarely mention that the stock is worthless. In this case, the offer doubled, and that is a good thing, but purchase of "assets" is just that...a purchase of assets, and, in this case, the purchase price is below the debt, therefore, common, at this point in time, appears to be wiped out. Still, I will monitor and keep a few dollars to jump in, just in case. Best to all...
