You have identified a real issue with MFA...I don't know the answer to that question. I bought NMM which has a nice divi when it was unexplainably down. That worked out well. I would not buy it at its current level. I bought MFA in a big way, at least for me. However, I am a little nervous about it. The market cap is high enough that I am confident this is not a fly by night operation but who knows?
