I thought the company model was that their "Vending Machines," were delivered behind the counter at pharmacies so that the employees operated it and then handed the prescription to the patients.

I don't believe they were going to position these "Vending Machines" in public places much like Redbox machines are. Their goal is not a public dispensing system without any human interaction.

Its a secure delivery system with included technology that tracks which prescription comes out of the box and who is handling that prescription before it is given to the patient.
