They were not filing quarterly reports. I believe that led to an artificially low PPS to begin with. Recent results have also shown a huge improvement. What is the strategy? To buy undervalued stocks, the same as it has always been.

You know I haven't even mentioned this yet. I am hoping to find out some details on it.

Acquisition of oil and gas properties (8,701,000)

That is taken from the cash flow statement on the 6 month report. That is a pretty damn nice chunk of change to spend on properties. Properties that could dramatically improve future results? It's pretty rare to see a stock trading at a market cap of 1.4 mil that is capable of spending that kind of cash. It is also rare to see one trading at about 13% of book value. Not to mention an annualized p/e of 2.

If you know of better .02 stocks please let me know about them. It's not like I don't spend hundreds of hours a month looking for these types of opportunities.

If you like it buy some and tell others about it. If you don't, then don't!

The purchase of the shares was not on the open market. If he had tried to do that the pps would have risen. It was a sell from previous CEO to what was at the time the new ceo.

This could be seen as an indication that the PPS did not reflect the true value of the company.
