A little insight from Dr. Alivisatos to what it takes the other companies to make QD's. The video details the typical process for TQD's by batch processing. Keep in mind quantum yields (QY) for rods are above 75% and for tetrapods between 35-70% with this batch process. Kind of puts in perspective why the QMC continuous flow process for mass production with QY >90% is so important to advance the QD industry.
