I tend to look at this current situation differently. You said

I think we're witnessing investors selling this stock, taking the loss, and moving their money elsewhere. If the MMs are doing anything its holding up the pps. I do believe some MMs are holding a number of shares, witnessed by the one sided selling today. All 38,500 shares traded were sells. This situation has been going on for well over 2 months and I believe they are holding many shares.
