It's not that they aren't smart but they like the one tick moves since it brings them 25 to 50 percent profit over and over again. It's price manipulation and illegal but that's what happens. This only works for them if the stock price stays low hence the wall to keep it down. This should sky rocket once SEC gives them a slap on the wrist.
