J.P. Morgan Chase's analyst asked what the right company to franchise mix is for the chain. He pointed out that competitors McDonald's had 93 percent of its U.S. system franchised and Burger King was pushing close to a 100 percent franchise-owned chain. "I think 15 percent ownership," replied CEO Brolick on the ideal mix for the time being.

BURGER KING announced that 3G Capital has completed the acquisition for $24 per share.
