Anyone know what the Philadelphia Chromosome is. I learned today, it's the chromosome that is found with leukemia patients who's cancers are held in remission as long as they're on Gleevec. I've got it, and started Gleevec today.

I mention it, as it's a miracle drug not only for patient, but for the drug maker, because it doesn't achieve a cure, you just keep buying it, hopefully with Medicare and Insurance Money for me.

I don't know that what AEZS has in development will produce such benefit, but they could. If they do, those who keep even a small position should do spectacularly well in time.

Treatment is going well, but boredom does come in even though I have unlimited computer access, TV with plenty of sports and movie channels, surprisingly tasty food. I now have to wear a mask when venturing into the halls, under escort, as the white counts are so low, as they want, that they want me to walk, just with as little risk as possible, so I wear the mask.

Care is great at Cedars-Sinai, I truly believe it belongs among the best in the world.

Gary
