How is it going? Gotta like my EPD... especially the long term appreciation and strength through down periods of the market. Today's Motley Fool article said what I expected in the first paragraph... NO GENERAL PARTNER. As we have seen with some others. those IDR's can be a drag!
While I respect his business record Carl paid himself 850mm this year while his GP stock fell 50%!!!
Sold his MLP but may consider rebuying before yrs end at low 22's, cuz the margins are good on refining. Staying away from the GP though. Meanwhile if EPD comes back to 60 I will have to put more money here, lol. But already #1 holding. GLTY!
