STOCKHOLM ( AFX) Chandler Holding, which recently bought large shares of Africa Oil , controlled by Richard Chandler whose wealth by Forbes magazine estimated at 18 billion.

Chandler Holding has over five days in late November , via the company Jasmine Capital, bought total of nearly 1.5 million shares of Africa Oil , according to service Canadian Insider - an investment of approximately SEK 100 million.

The transactions in November was preceded by Chandler took a considerable proportion , about 12 percent of the private placement totaling $ 450 million that Africa Oil completed in late November , after which Chandler flagged for a holding of over 10 per cent.

Chandler Corporation began buying shares of Africa Oil sometime in 2012 , according to the group's spokesperson Melanie Hui in an email to the News Agency Direkt . She will not tell me how ownership has evolved accordingly. Chandler's first listing in the Canadian Insider is dated 30 October, when the holding amounted to almost 25 million shares.
