Afaik Tim never sent out an "I'm short" trade alert on this. Borrows are/were quite hard to come by on this one. This didn't drop b/c of some coordinated attack. It dropped because it's a pump and dump.
Sadly nowadays the drop usually comes without the prior share price increase. MDDD was just a textbook case of how these are done now.
They start off too expensive...hardly go up much % compared to the good ol' days...then tank.
At least years ago promoters were interested in protecting their 'rep' and not burning their lists. They wanted players for the next pump.
Welp...for a while now I think these guys know they might not get to do a 'next' pump. Think APS.
They're all just a cash grab now. What's the point in longing a promo if it isn't going to go up 100% or more before the big cliffdive?
When was the last time you saw a $1.10 promo slowly but surely hit $2.20 before they bailed on it?
