I replied with a thanks and asked her who the manufacturer is. I expect email silence on that one. I'd love to know how many are in that shipment, wouldn't you?

On that 10/1/13 bright sign shipment there were 432 cartons. Does that equate to 432 nano signs?:

My understanding of the NanoSign is that NTEK purchased them all from BrightSign. I emailed BrightSign and got this back:

No we do not. This product is EOL.

You can't really get it anywhere else under the formerly reduced price of $1299. The latest bright signs are just the "brains" in a box, you supply the display. See: http://store.brightsign.biz/Store-W1.aspx

NTEK added the speakers and an NTEK logo to the front. They seem like a good deal even at the NTEK regular price given they have the rest of the lot on a pretty cool product, granted cool for a niche market, but cool nonetheless.
