I have followed Cortex for over 15 years now. In that time, the stock market has been extremely bearish, and parabolicly bullish 2 or 3 times. I have seen vapor companies IPO for billions of dollars.

Biotech has gone thru similar patterns. DNDN, and others I can't remember off hand, went from being penny stocks to $30+, then back again.

Cortex management could never figure out how to convert the promise of ampakines into a cash-rich IPO or investment in all of that time, during all of those different market conditions.

The failed management of Cortex, over the years, should hang their heads in shame at their pathetic performance. And the world is worse that management could never pull off a decent sales pitch and sucessful trial.
