That drone talk by Bezos sure got a lot of publicity. He really knows how to get attention from some many. But in this case, it really seems like too much overreach. Like Elon Musk and his pneumatic tube for travel between Los Angeles and SF.

For the drone, I read elsewhere that this could be a serious air hazard. These are not toys. Military drones fly high to avoid hitting power lines and buildings. They land in controlled environment - where they took off from usually. Think about an amazon drone landing near different peoples homes. Its hazardous. That environment is far more random.

Hey and even toy airplanes can kill - some guy got his head cutoff recently!

Anyhow, for JCP, I really dont think Amazon+drone is going to be a new competitive factor. Just Amazon selling online is still the main thing that JCP might face.
