why I wont buy sears stock...
my wife was shopping for a gift for me, she used a coupon, gift card and some of her reward points. Ordered online, and it came up order canceled, insufficient inventory. She called the local store, they had plenty in stock. She re-ordered online and went to pick it up in store. Got the item, and all is good.
next day, she gets an email, ordered canceled, insufficient inventory. Checks her reward pts, all there, checks gift card, its still full. She calls the store, they give her the corp 800 #. She calls to get it fixed, (she doesnt want to steal the item). Talks to 8, yes EIGHT different people, about 2 hrs on the phone. At one point they want her to just charge the entire purchase to her credit card, no-way, we have a gift card. 2 hrs and 8 people, they said its taken care of.
check the gift card the next day, it has twice the $ on it then when she purchased it. WOW... guess I am getting more presents from Sears this year.
Just look at their cash registers, they are from the 1980s.. no wonder they have problems. I am not a trader, I dont short stocks, I buy and hold... just not buying sears anytime soon.
