The assessment confirmed that the discovered basin in Northern Kenya contains gross contingent resources of 368 million barrels of oil, an increase of 557% over the assessment conducted in mid 2012. In addition, gross risked prospective resources of 1,213 million barrels of oil are estimated for the discovered basin in Northern Kenya. Net Contingent Resources for the Company are estimated at 231 million barrels of oil. Net Unrisked Prospective Resources for the Company are estimated at 9,647 million barrels of oil (excluding Puntland) and Net Risked Prospective Resources at 1,294 million barrels of oil (excluding Puntland).
