CEO reports to the Chair of the Board. I never said the CEO reports to the CFO or COO. She is the Chair of the board. Also, not every company uses the TITLE of CEO. Technically , she is acting CEO until they hire a different one, who would be reporting to her anyway. Why spend money on another salary when she is already filling the roll of CEO?
