You're leaving out a lot of key info.

VHC has ~$400 million in verdicts/interest awarded to them.

VHC has technology declared essential for the global standardization covering the largest wireless/networking deployment in the history of telecommunications.

I think it's a mistake to compare Apples with Oranges. It creates more confusion (misinformation) than does it provide benefit.

I think it's even a bigger mistake to reference some of these terrible seeking alpha articles. Almost all of these authors have no idea how to realistically analyze patent infringement lawsuits and monetary opportunities. Billion dollar awards don't grow on trees. Lawyers for Bascom will take 35%-40%.

Yes, DSS is undervalued in context of the potential opportunities facing it currently. But that isn't justified by pointing to VHC or SeekingAlpha garbage. All IMHO.
