Or someone could have a long position that they feel is profitable. You can have a long position in a company like pphm that has interesting technology but many problems. I also think nothing said here or on any message board has any impact on pphm. So why not say what you feel? The PII disaster, the first line results, the bod, the ATM, the stock options and retention bonuses, the long term company track record, the rs..... you see all this and have glowing, risk-free, likely 10,20100 bagger. Believing that is puzzling to me.
