Oh the over due factor? In a recent issue of Forbes they mentioned Genetech was formed in 1975. This can be confirmed on their web site. I wondered how long it took investors to make money is this company so I pulled out Value Line. As recently as 2000 they lost 16 million. In 2002 the stock hit a low of $12.5 per share.(It split 2 for 1 three times since 1999.) By 2005 the stock hit a high of $100 and the company was estimated to make $1,250 billion.

Currently it is given Value Lines highest rank for timeliness. Although I don't know what year the company went public it was at least by 1995. Thats how far back Value Line currently tracks all their stocks. It makes you wonder how long Genentech investors toughed out a promising idea. Is 6-7 years for IFUE a long time? Depends on your time horizon. Maybe a long term Genetech investor could answer that.

As a said before, Defender/Never adds nothing to this board. She is not worth answering. This post is for those out there who might be new to the board.
