Why do YOU accuse SK and others of lying when they say that there WILL BE an early look-in(not "MOST LIKELY have an early look-in")? What is the point of the look-in? And by the way I did not say that "blood markers" would be an endpoint. The point is ,of course, that with what they have learned about blood markers they will be able to make an informed decision about WHEN to have their look-in with the endpoint being OS.

"What is the point of the look-in?"

Obviously if an early look hits the pre-defined alpha spend, then the trial can be halted for efficacy (or futility in other cases). I must be missing why you posted this. I in no way disagree than an early look can lead to an early positive result.

As to "when" they look, it will be at some pre-defined number of events. They will NOT be looking at data real time to decide when to peek.

So it all comes down to:

. Define the event counts when they will look at the IA and final, something like 225 and 450 respectively.
. Start enrolling patients
. Wait for events

Nothing about "blood markers" speeds this up.
