Meeting Commitments - 1 person working

The problem with meeting commitments, IMO, is that Phil is about the only corporate employee that NMKT has. And he is the one that has to actually do the work. (Rick Lutz is not an employee and has a handful of other companies he does PR work for.)

The first problem is that Phil should have said "transcripts of the conference call will be posted on the web site as time permits" and not given a specific date.

1. Who actually is suppose to take the transcripts? Did Phil tape the conference call with the expectation of typing the transcript up on an airplane trip?

2. Could it be that something else more important came up for Phil -- the one man that does all the work?

a. Phil Rauch negotiates to come on as the CFO announced today. That took time away from Phil's secretary duties.

b. NewMarket files a lawsuit against DCI today. That took time away from Phil's secretary duties.

See, the real problem is that Phil tries to do so much himself that he has to set priorities. And the CFO and lawsuit took priority.

JIMO. And not that I am making excuses for Phil (Verges).
