A question for the board.. It seems everyday there is a post about short interest volume.. Usually that number is apx 20-21 million shares short or apx 27% of the float is short. I just wonder about the accuracy of these numbers and why they are all so important. I know the site shortsqueeze.com is used for this info. On that same shortsqueeze page it list 8.9 % as being institution owned. I went stockzoa.com to see what funds have institutional share ownership in VRNG, and after adding all the shares up it totals a little over 23 million shares, so why would the shortsquezze site say only 8.9% when it's actually closer to +30% of the float. That's assuming(that word again) the fund ownership numbers or(stockzoa)are right.. I guess I am asking the question , if any service (trading sites) was legally bound to post updated correct info , would the share price reflect it? Also another example of conflicting numbers. If you look at 'YAHOO' as a example for VRNG of individual ownership and look up shares owned by MR Lang on 'major direct holders' the figure is 2,774,413 shares but under the 'insider roster' page Mr Lang's figure is 5,706,165 shares. Are those figures so different because not all shares are available to sell, but that is the grand total?
