My guess, Gold will not drop to $800 anytime soon. It would happen over the next year or so and in that event Banro is in a position to slash production costs. Earlier production forecast was $500 an ounce. Surely if they select higher head grade ore they can increase productivity and lower cost in times of depressed gold prices. I believe they can easily weather such a doomsday scenario for the short term to intermediate term. There would be no need for a R/S and Banro management have too much respect and experience for that scenario. The tide will return for the mining sector, and Banro will be rewarded with a higher share price, production increases with Namoya will be the icing on the cake.
