QUESTION, Company acquisition on bid buyout???

Hi, has anyone know or experience a company acquisition on a bid buyout?

What to expect to the stock when a company is acquired that day, let's say on Monday, and expect to complete the transaction in the next several business days? It will rise on Monday, and will it continue to rise in the next several business days when the transaction is complete?
