Regarding pump and dump schemes and SLTD:

There is a website which claims to provide a "public service dedicated to ending penny stock schemes which hurt the innocent, especially seniors and students and others who are easy prey to get rich quick schemes. These dupes are victimized by those who perpetrate penny stock fraud and the promoters who provide aid and comfort to them." (I believe that pgleba referred to the website in a previous post).

Sounds like a perfectly noble mission, doesn't it? Helping the innocent find their way in the murky waters of the evil penny stock swamp!

There's evidence on the web linking a man named George A. Sharp to the website I referred to above. It appears to be shady stuff:

"While Mr. Sharp tries to promote certain stocks, such as HAIR for which he was paid $15,000 per public information, on some of his websites, he files baseless lawsuits against countless other companies as he manipulates their stocks by shorting and bashing these companies he sues on his other websites. So the guy attempting to allegedly end penny stock fraud…is simply the biggest fraud of all!"

It's a shame that SLTD has been targeted by this website. The reason I went looking into this and the question that kept eating at me was this:

How can one really tell the difference between a legitimate company making occasional attempts to boost it's stock price with real developments and news, and a company that's manufacturing news to boost the stock price and cash out while the price is artificially inflated? That is unless there's verified dirt on the company in question. I have found no evidence of any dishonest activity with regard to 3DSolar thus far.

I'm really rooting for SLTD and this technology. I hope it's legit.
