If GNVC plays a part in developing a commercially approved vaccine for RSV it could be huge. That said, I believe it's many years away unless substantial funding comes in either from a partnership, or a major research grant.

Money is the key to accelerating drug development programs, if big Pharma is developing a product things can happen in a couple years that will take a decade or more from a tiny biotech. Govt. may provide sufficient funding to keep programs alive, but they rarely support it at levels that speed approval. Look at GNVC's FMD Vaccine, I still don't know what Merial's doing with it, but clearly it's far superior to current vaccines. To my knowledge, GNVC has never completely disclosed what they'll see should Merial commercialize this product.
