Seems that we are right concerning the limited knowledge of some of the posters on this board.
One lesson to you we-uns.
Many moons ago, I had to go after a Major Oil Company on the behalf of a farmer who had fresh water to sell to the MOC for a waterflood they were putting in.
We all showed up at the court room, ( for those who don't know what a court room is, it is a place that opposing sides give facts for a Judge or Jury to hear and decide who is right ), but before we went in the court room, the MOC made an offer to settle the disagreement. I have a copy of the settlement. There is NO record in the court as to the settlement, but I do have an original "filed payoff" in my files.
I hope this lesson helps those who have not been exposed to such.
