Why hasn't anyone actually broken down the PR? Take for instance this:

"The activity of PMX1408 against Candida and Aspergillus warrants further development of the compound as a topical treatment for hard-to-treat infections."

"topical treatment"? Anyone even bother to examine FDA regulations regarding topically applied drugs, as in ointments, before jumping to conclusions? Anyone recall Leo's statement about going after low hanging fruit first?
