But pursue righteousness, godly devotion, faith, love, endurance, mildness of temper. 12 Fight the fine fight of the faith, get a firm hold on the everlasting life for which you were called and you offered the fine public declaration in front of many witnesses.
*1 Ti 6:19 holding faith and a good conscience, which some have thrust aside and have experienced shipwreck concerning [their] faith
Ecc 7:19 “‘Into the streets they will throw their very silver, and an abhorrent thing their own gold will become. Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah’s fury. Their souls they will not satisfy, and their intestines they will not fill, for it has become a stumbling block causing their error.
In other words : Our souls (our PHYSICAL BODYS) we will not satisfy.......We'll.starve......Better to have FOOD than gold....
To illustrate, let's take the Phillipines this past week (where over 4,100 souls lost their lives and 600,000 to 1,000,000 people were displaced).
Who's going to trade us some food for some gold, when they can not EAT gold ?

We need to make sure of the more important things.....To be mindful of and develop our spiritual health
(Phillipians 1:9) And this is what I continue praying, that YOUR love may abound yet more and more with accurate knowledge and full discernment; 10 that YOU may make sure of the more important things, so that YOU may be flawless and not be stumbling others up to the day of Christ, 11 and may be filled with righteous fruit, which is through Jesus Christ, to God’s glory and praise.
