your assumption is that all the other shareholders will have your mindset and patience. With the huge blocks halting the natural course of the stock price others may get impatient and decide it's not worth the wait...selling begins and cascade causing even more selling.

I understand your point. However, artificially manipulating the stock to acquire more shares at a much later date? time frame? (and that time frame is not determined as Fidelity is not acting like Flash Gordon)??? well that's not reasonable... it's greedy and selfish. Sorry...
