I believe you should care where the price is... the dynamics of the market dictate the price. When blocks show up it distorts the dynamics and the momentum of the stock price.

I realize this happens often with the smaller stocks. But if it happens too frequently the stock momentum can be killed all together and we will all in be in a world of hurt waiting a very long time for the price to recover.

I believe this to be true and I am sure others will disagree. But the true nature of the market and the development of momentum is through the number of shareholders... there is an optimal number that will create continual momentum and sustainability. The lower the number of shareholders leads to big swings based on buys and sells. That volatility, although good when there is a positive catalyst, can be bad when there is not enough support to sustain the move.

We are not that far off from what I understand...

Putting up the blocks is not only selfish but can be self destructive.
