Since you acknowledged it was a good post, I'll answer your questions:

1. "Preliminary" here should be for overall survival only because events were still accruing, all other items from the trial shouldn't be preliminary because the trial was unblinded months ago for primary endpoints of ORR and PFS.

2. Blood are drawn in pretty much ALL clinical trials, especially oncology trials, not only for PK analysis but also for monitoring of safety via both hematology and chemistry parameters. Both arms got CHEMO docetaxel, monitoring of blood parameter changes were required.
