years in business, has an opportunity for a hands-on, Operations Engineer that has experience with marginal gas wells.
Successful candidate will have experience with Workovers. Any experience with plunger-lifts and/or Well Site compression a big plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Plans, manages, and coordinates all aspects of workovers.
•Develops detailed workover procedures in support of Production Operations.
• Responsible for evaluation, identification, and development of production enhancement opportunities.
•Researches new production techniques and approaches to enhance production rates and reduce operating costs for marginal gas and oil wells.
•Assists in the continual monitoring of workover procedures and practices to identify opportunities to improve overall economic results.
•Provides engineering and technical assistance to Production Engineers and Production Foremen/Superintendent(s) as needed.
•Coordinates the bidding process and purchase of materials for workovers.
•Supervises subcontractors providing service on-site.
•Responsible for AFE development, management, and evaluation.
•Continually monitors engineering/operations technology changes for economic application to business.
•Monitors activities from the office and occasionally from field locationssupport in researching new production techniques and approaches to enhance production rates and reduce operating costs for marginal gas and oil wells.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelors Degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
•Three plus (3+) years experience in Oil and Gas Operations and Engineering specifically with marginal gas wells.
•Diversified down-hole knowledge combined with strong mechanical aptitude.
•Good working knowledge of all surface and down-hole production equipment, including plunger lift systems, compression, and gathering systems.
•Well developed project management skills with capability to manage multiple diverse projects.
•Successful workover and recompletion experience.
•Good communication/interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively interact in group meetings and one-on-one.
•Experience in analyzing production logs and performing trend analysis.
•Demonstrated skill in presenting information in a concise, economic-based manner.
•Ability to work effectively as a part of a team to solve operational problems.
•Organized and administratively proficient with ability to manage time and workload effectively.
