Price has nothing too do with the trade except when you make it.. If the short goes up in value so will the 2 for 1 spin off but you have to BELIEVE what you hear is true and the spin off comes off as advertised by the belivers,, I don't know if the company has said what the ratio would be or how many shares that would be distributed to shareholders.. If shares have increased above the 4.3 million float more than thought then there will be less of a spin off share ratio.. You have to decide if what you hear or see is what you get,, only the amount of shares that are in the spin off company has been announced..hank
