I do not think you can overlook tax loss selling. Taxes are higher. Many people have big gains in the market they want to shield from the high taxes. Better investors will do their tax loss selling early rather than waiting until the last minute.
The fantastic PR yesterday makes it less likely a big holder with inside information is dumping stock.
The relatively low volume is consistent with the above. I would be much more concerned if we had millions of shares for sale daily.
In fact I have been buying the last few weeks. The first buy yesterday was mine.
