the MDSCs are very interesting. Some have commented that bavi is barely active vs. the downstream drug.

As a laymen and a pure logical point from what I see. Bavi causes the immune system to become active but w/o a killer drug the body is at the mercy of whatever killer drug that is added to bavi. Otherwise the body would have to wait for the normal immune response to attack the cancer alone which would be very slow and since the cancer had a headstart, the natural immune system may not be enough to overtake the cancer

However, with the right combo drug, bavi turns the immune system back on, the combo killer irradicates the existing cancer along with bavi, and bavi keeps the natural immune system on and is more likely to keep the cancer from returning. So the combo killer may kill the most cancer cells but it is bavi that is turning the immune system back on to befin with, helping to kill additional cancer that the combo drug can't get to, and keeping the immune system on once the cancer is irradicated.

Now, that is from a laymen"s understanding. Where did I go wrong?
