Reply to piece o mind,

if this company had failed due to a true and unusual new event (i.e. drug suddenly found to cause brain tumors, liver failure, etc.) then everyone would grieve, walk away and move on.

So many people stayed with the company for the long term because of the drug's potential and (still supported by the clinical data) excellent benefit over risk ratio as a life saving drug for patients with NO other options.

People are so upset due to the double blow of what appears to be stock manipulation using insider information to pre-program what became the 7 minute "flash crash" (criminal behaviour) as well as very odd comments and data analysis coming out of the FDA during the furlough from a person with known hostility toward the drug industry who made no attempt to work with the company to resolve this in a mutually beneficial manner (unprofessional behaviour).

If your advice is for the retail investor to abandon the stock market altogether due to the fact that it is so heavily manipulated today, or to "never invest what you can't afford to lose", that would be good advice - but to ridicule or belittle people who have lost their life savings (as many have)due to supporting a company that is at this moment saving the lives of hundreds of people around the world (low estimate)because they believed in the drug and in the company is not necessary and is not kind.
