Please restrain from personal attacks. If the science succeeds then so does the investor buying shares. If the science fails, the short sellers win who make money from the failure of the drug. Thus, the investor buying shares, despite the intention to make profit, has a higher moral position. It is not wrong to have an intention to make money but how you make money does count.
