Engineering thoughts: I am a mechanical engineer but my specialty is not materials or chemical finish's. I have designed plastic parts though and have spec'd polycarbonates and ABS's. Does anyone think that the Semco process of binding and sealing, etc a material lends itself to the rebar R&D. I wonder if they are planning to increase the structural properties of extruded plastic rebar using the Semco process. Rebar with dielectric, corrosion resistant, structural properties that rival steel. I wonder???
