GOSSSAMER, "Thinning" is a term relating to Level 2 and what some are seeing. If there were say 5 orders on a stock on the Ask side of 015 and now there are only 2 left and then it jusmps to the next level which may be an order of 017 they are referring to the 015's as "Thinning" or basically being bought up.
