Evogene - I read the prospectus last evening, much of it pretty boring but necessary stuff. I agree that it sounds like their informatics and other computer anglings into traits and genes is pretty darn good, hence the multiple collaborations.
To me, it is hard to predict the commercial potential of their multiple collaborative products with top notch agronomy companies. The specific traits/genes under investigation and development are not mentioned that I have seen, likely due to competitive reasons. Interesting that in this space there is a 6 year product development cycle. So, it is all about future earnings as I see it, but they do cover a lot of current expenses with collaboration income, kinda like biotech discovery program agreements.
Having said all this, I like the company from what I have read. I will likely get in the queue for the offering.
