That's the whole problem with "SPECIALTY/INDUSTRY EXPO's, 95% of the attendees are people that are doing the same thing you are,i.e. trying to sell stuff. It is 100% different then selling to the general public, i.e. gun shows, boat shows, coin shows. Do people honestly think that UPS and FEDex buyers, or the Delivery People for that matter are going to London to see IMSCs 150 and 220?

They aren't free ya know. There is cost involved.

Depending on the booth (size and location) they can cost up $20,000. You have to send 3 or 4 people there, another $4,000 for flights. Hotels and meals for 3 nights add another $5,000. Logistics of getting stuff there, incidentals add another $1,000.

Your talking $30,000. They've done 15 of them. That's almost $500,000.

I went to these things as both a presenter and an attendee. At the 200 person company I worked for, 30 staff members per day would just go to walk around and check things out, i.e. the bag of goodies.

Waste of money.
