NEW YORK (Reuters) - Oil prices surged on Friday to the highest level since September's hurricanes crippled oil output from the Gulf of Mexico, as tensions mounted over OPEC-member Iran's nuclear crisis.
Some international trade analysts have warned that if Iran’s nuclear dossier is sent to the UN Security Council and sanctions follow, oil prices will even jump above 100 dollars per barrel.
