Today when I went to lunch, I was looking around and noticed how many of us 'older types' were there.
Amazing... Just a little buffet place, but the gray (sp?) in the crowd was over 50%.
What does this tell me? We don't like warm bologna sandwiches?
Maybe... but I was thinking more along the lines that we are among the higher compensated workers and thusly have more disposable income than the average person (we can afford to eat out more often). Our life circumstances may be different (payments, health, etc.) but we're within 15 years of retirement, so we should be investing more for the next phase of our life. Max out the company match 401k or sock it away in a IRA.
