Your are correct, Netfix does drop content, but not nearly "as frequently as they add it". They dropped over 1,800 titles in May (mostly unpopular titles whose licensed expired)True, they have dropped some classics also.
They now will get Disney movies before cable.
According to Netfix; “The goal is to become HBO faster than HBO can become us,” chief content officer Ted Sarandos told GQ in February.
