IMHO, one should first watch and rewatch the shareholder's meeting. What I pulled from it was that this set top box, while incredible, was a bonus product. NTEK only got into this because the other guys were either taking too long and/or doing a poor job of it; and NTEK could do it better.

In the SHM, they clearly state that they're ok having their set-top boxes get overtaken by the market, but for now they can do it better quicker. And while doing this, they are trying to capture the 4K content market. Meaning money NOW and in the LONG FUTURE.
