Maybe it was just because I read the article quickly, but that seemed to jump out at me. The article said, "Intel Says India Will Design Advanced Versions of Chips for Its Servers and Laptop Computers." I read, "Intel Says India Will Design Advanced Versions of Chips for Its Servers based on Laptop Computers."

Maybe it was just a Freudian slip of the brain, but building a server chip based on Centrino might not be a bad idea, given the low power characteristics and high IPC. Why not add a memory controller and high speed interconnects? Create a Hammer wannabe, but using lower power. Hmm... I guess it was just my imagination.
